Founded in Singapore, IHT Swiss Watch Atelier exists to preserve, practise and pass on the craft of fine Swiss mechanical watchmaking.
Led by Swiss Federal Master Watchmaker Michael Dubs, IHT brings together professional watchmaking, education, restoration and watchmaking experiences under one independent atelier. From public masterclasses and professional development to specialist servicing and bespoke engagements, every programme and service is guided by a commitment to making authentic Swiss watchmaking accessible without diminishing its depth, integrity or technical richness.

Behind IHT
Michael Dubs
Founder and Swiss Master Watchmaker
With more than 30 years of experience in the Swiss watch industry, Michael’s career includes senior technical roles with Audemars Piguet and Vaucher Manufacture across product development manufacturing, training, after-sales service and high complications.
An FHH Academy Accredited Trainer, Michael specialises in perpetual calendars, tourbillons, minute repeaters, vintage restoration and professional watchmaking education.
Through IHT, he is committed to preserving and passing on the traditions of Swiss mechanical watchmaking to collectors, enthusiasts, professionals and future generations.
Phyllis Dubs
Co-Founder and Operations Director
Phyllis Dubs oversees the operations, partnerships and educational direction of IHT Swiss Watch Atelier.
Trained as a Chartered Accountant trained in London, her experience includes corporate banking with OCBC and corporate tax advisory with Price Waterhouse and PwC Cambodia.
Drawing on more than 17 years of homeschooling experience, Phyllis designs learning experiences that make Swiss mechanical watchmaking engaging and accessible for audiences ranging from complete beginners to luxury brands, educational institutions and corporate organisations.
Nicholas Dubs
IT & Web Development Lead
Nicholas leads the digital infrastructure behind IHT Swiss Watch Atelier.
From the website and booking platform to customer systems and digital workflows, he develops the technology that enables IHT to deliver a seamless experience while supporting the continued growth of the atelier.
Benjamin Dubs
Content Creator & Social Media Assistant
Benjamin documents the story of IHT through photography, videography and digital content.
His work captures the craftsmanship, people and moments behind the atelier, helping introduce new audiences to the world of Swiss mechanical watchmaking through authentic visual storytelling.
