Mechanical watches are the result of centuries of innovation, craftsmanship and technical excellence. This structured programme provides a deeper understanding of Swiss mechanical watchmaking through a combination of horological theory and guided hands-on learning.
Administered by ITE and taught by Swiss Federal Master Watchmaker Michael Dubs, participants explore the history of watchmaking, mechanical watches, complications and the Swiss watch industry before experiencing the guided disassembly and reassembly of a genuine mechanical watch movement.
Eligible participants may use their remaining Opening SkillsFuture Credit towards the course fee.
