Put on the shoes and coat of a watchmaker and experience what it is like to be one in this 2-hour Masterclass. Be prepared to manipulate small components using tools of the trade and hand-eye coordination. Step by step guidance from Swiss master watchmaker, Michael Dubs, will be given as each participant assembles their own mechanical watch movement. At the end of this unique experience, take home your very own mechanical movement to continue your watchmaking journey with.
The Practicum
Begin with a brief introduction to the heritage of watchmaking and the steps to crafting a mechanical watch. This is followed by step-by-step guidance from Swiss master watchmaker, Michael Dubs, to assemble a mechanical watch movement. Michael will also share the functions and importance of each component as you go along.

This class is ideal for hobbyists or anyone interested in gaining practical experience in mechanical watchmaking. No prior experience is needed, making it accessible to enthusiasts of all levels, starting from age 12.
