The master of Master Watchmakers, Paul Gerber is not only brilliant and creative but humble and unassuming. This is despite him being the go-to watchmaker consultant for those wishing to modify their timepieces to having undertaken development work for even long established watch brands. He is known in the industry for his expertise in crafting unique and complicated watches through new developments or modifying existing mechanisms.

Preferring to produce watches in his own name on the dial only as a sideline, Paul Gerber watches are hard to come by but those who have acquired one of his pieces will attest to their excellence.

Michael was introduced to Paul in 1994 by Marc Jenni, Michael’s watchmaker school buddy. After about half a century of contributing to the development of complications in watchmaking, Paul now conducts in Zurich a highly sought after 3-day seminar to modify your own watch.

To perpetuate and raise awareness of this highly artisanal skill and craft of mechanical watching globally, IHT is honoured to be trained by Paul to conduct his trademark seminar in Singapore.
