Perfect for enthusiasts, collectors or anyone curious about horology. An immersive class with a hands-on element offering a rare opportunity to experience the craft of Swiss watchmaking right here in Singapore.
This course blends foundational watchmaking theory, Swiss watchmaking heritage and industry perspective with guided hands-on dismantling and reassembly of a mechanical movement. Participants leave with an understanding of the principles of mechanical timekeeping and a practical, first-hand exposure to watchmaking as a possible career path.
Guided by Swiss Master Watchmaker Michael Dubs, you’ll explore the history of timepieces, discover iconic brands and learn about the artistry of watch complications. Participants will also work at mini watchmaker’s benches, disassemble and assemble their very own mechanical watch movement to take home.
